Open every day from 6am to 11pm, the gym offers many activities such as free access to squash courts, but also group classes, personal training, and a weight room. In 2020, the gym’s manager and coach Mr Sauvant decided to replace the paper membership cards with plastic card ones printed using the Badgy solution.
The Fit’N Squash gym has chosen Badgy for its membership cards
Founded in 2012, the Fit’n Squash gym in Brissac (France) now has over 450 members.
Since the beginning, Fit’n Squash has constantly evolved and stood out by widening its selection of classes and services to appeal to all different sport lovers. This resulted in an even bigger increase in members. It therefore became vital for the gym to better manage the administrative side of its annual memberships in order to identify every gym member in a professional and long-term manner.
Professional membership cards to access the gym
Previously, Mr Sauvant’s membership cards were made of paper with an adhesive flap. This involved a lot of work to produce a product that just did not live up to the gym’s brand image. Another problem was the time it took to issue the membership cards to the customers. Previously, they would need to wait for 5 or 6 new registrations or renewals to be able to use one of the adhesive flap sheets.
He therefore decided to replace this time consuming and inefficient method with Badgy200, the all-in-one solution which allows him to create and print personalised badges. The solution includes:
- a plastic card printer
- Evolis Badge Studio software
- and consumables – plastic cards and ribbon cassettes.
Thanks to the creation software, Mr Sauvant was able to create a totally personalised card template to fully represent the gym’s brand image. The now smart looking cards feature:
- the gym logo
- the member’s name and surname
- a barcode
- a code to access the gym 7 days a week
- type of membership
- year of membership.
They then take just a few minutes to print thanks to the Badgy200 printer and are immediately issued to members when they sign up or when they renew their membership at Fit’n Squash. Very soon after having installed the printer, Mr Sauvant was able to issue 50 membership cards. He then renewed the totality of his 450 membership cards over the year. He then renewed the totality of his 450 membership cards over the year.
Badgy, an all-in-one solution that ensures flexibility and time saving
After a few months of having used Badgy200 solution to create and print his cards, Mr Sauvant remains totally satisfied with his choice for many reasons:
- the professional finish of his new membership cards
- the simplicity of the printer and its software
- the improved flexibility when it comes to issuing the cards.
And to be able to keep up with demand, Mr Sauvant also opted for a Sig100 signature pad from Evolis to complement the Badgy200 solution. When a new member signs up, before being issued a card, they must validate their contracts with a secure digital signature on the tablet.
I chose Badgy for its professional look, its simplicity and the time it allows us to save when providing membership cards for our customers. It’s for all of these reasons that I would recommend it!
