Cards created by the Cœur du Bassin d’Arcachon Tourist Office to promote buying local!
This year, the Coeur du Bassin d’Arcachon Tourist Office has introduced a new feature for local residents: the PASS d’ici, a card that highlights local economic players and rewards local residents, printed with our Badgy solution.

A multi-mission Office
The Cœur du Bassin d’Arcachon Tourist Office now covers a territory made up of 5 communes: Lanton, Audenge, Biganos, Mios and Marcheprime. Its mission is to welcome and advise its various publics. It also aims to contribute to the development of local tourism.
« PASS d'ici » cards, a project to boost the local economy
In line with their desire to promote local players, the teams at the Tourist Office have launched the « PASS d’ici », an initiative introduced this year. It’s a card designed for residents of the Cœur du Bassin area, giving them easier access to local products and services, and promoting eco-responsible commerce. Merchants and participants of the « PASS d’ici » program offer exclusive advantages or preferential rates to cardholders.

A choice adapted to the needs of the Tourist Office
When the Tourist Office teams began thinking about launching this project, the question of how to create the cards was quickly raised. How could we find a card-printing solution that would be sufficiently responsive and instantaneous to respond quickly to demand from the various « PASS d’ici » users, and that would allow optimum personalization, while remaining accessible?
Rémy Cabannes, in charge of local events at the Tourist Office, explains how he discovered Badgy: “It was my colleague who first told me about Badgy. The solution was in use at her sister’s company. I did some research on my own, and when I compared the different printing solutions available to me, Badgy was the one that best meet our needs.”
The Tourist Office then equipped itself with a Badgy printer to create the « PASS d’ici ». Local residents wishing to obtain a card fill in a form on the Office’s website. As soon as the card is ready, they collect it directly from the Office reception desk, and can immediately take advantage of its many benefits. On the card you can find the full name of the cardholder and the commune in which he or she lives. It also includes a QR code, giving residents direct access to a list of all local partners in the scheme.
The « PASS d’ici » project was officially launched at the end of May. To date, over 275 cards have been printed.
